We are excited to host the 18th annual Fishing for the Cure Ice Fishing Challenge, February 15, 2025 12:00-3:00 pm.
More details to come. We can't wait to see you on the ice in 2025!
Fishing for the Cure
Anyone who has attended will tell you that the Fishing For the Cure Ice Fishing Challenge is one of the most fun and meaningful fishing tournaments ever!
What's better than a great day ice fishing with family and friends, while also knowing you are raising money for a good cause?
Our 2023 tournament continued with its reputation for being a fun, family friendly event. We broke our attendance record with 1,564 people – moms, dads, kids, grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends – having fun catching fish and watching the leaderboard to see where their name would land on the list of 100 prizes. Altogether, with support from so many people, we raised a record $125,000 at our 2023 tournament!
Prizes were awarded for the top 50 fish in two fish categories – large fish (Northern and Walleye) and small fish (Crappie, Perch and Sunfish). The person with the smallest fish that made the leaderboard during the tournament, won the biggest fish prize!
The Fishing for the Cure event honors those who are fighting cancer, those who have fought cancer and won, and those who have suffered from cancer and are no longer with us.
